MASK, 2016

This piece was one of the first Metalsmithing techniques Sarah McDaniel learned. This piece reflected on the idea of how we see ourselves, and how others see us. While we place on a "Mask" everyday for others to see, we truly are hiding from our true selves. This concept also allowed research into depression, and how depression can only really be seen on the inside.
