Mrs. E was one of our first Boudoir Sessions of 2020, and let me tell you.
SHE BROUGHT IT.
Mrs. E booked her session in November 2019 for January 2020, she was looking for someone "outside of her box" for her soon-to-be husband. During her Phone Consultation, she went over how she wanted moody images with a hint of "bride to be." So, you know, we covered her in white sheer to give her that vintage look.
When Lindsey Jenkins did her Hair and Makeup Mrs. E wanted a mixture of Bold & Elegant for her overall look. To be honest, she reminded me of a younger Demi Moore, but apparently, she was too young to realize who Demi Moore was.
ANYWAYS, let's talk about her Hair and Makeup First.
Lindsey Jenkins was the Hair & Makeup Artist for Mrs. E's Boudoir Session, and let me tell you. She did such an amazing job. Her vintage look really brought out her natural facial curves and shine.
Mrs. E normally never wore Makeup, she explained that the only time someone did her Makeup was for Prom. And guess what? That is normal! So we always want to make sure that each and every client we have is allowed to be showcased like the Goddess they are. Hair & Makeup is more than just getting pretty for photos, it allows us to chat, relax, and get to know each other.
And then after she was all pretty, we got to try on the Lingerie and document her amazing transformation into a Goddess!
1) Why did you want to do a Session with Sarah McDaniel Studio?
I wanted to do a session with Sarah McDaniel Studio as a wedding present for my fiancé!
2) What was your favorite part of your Session?
My favorite part was seeing myself after Lindsey did my hair and makeup. I was blown away at how hot I looked. I’m not very big into makeup so this was totally new for me. I actually went and spent $160 in Ulta the other day to try and practice recreating my makeup at home that’s how much I loved it!
3) What was one of your biggest fears?
I was really nervous and hesitant as the days got closer. I got sick and ate like crap a couple of days before so I thought I was going to look chubby in my photos. I know there are worse things to fear, and everyone has their own self-image love/hate relationships with their body.
4) What would you say to someone that is interested in booking a session with us?
Now that I have experienced feeling glamorous and posed in front of the camera, my friends tell me I need to be a model in a magazine. Of course, that is the biggest self-esteem and confidence boost ever! I felt empowered looking at my photos, and I want every woman to be able to look at her photos and feel the same way. Go out of your comfort zone and try something new. Get dressed up for yourself.
