Strength is perception; physically or emotionally measured by the amount of weight one can bear or carry. Physical fitness is often equated to power-lifting weights and achieving new personal records and goals for heaviest weights but do we allow ourselves to set our own personal goals in regard to our mental and emotional strength? When facing difficulties in our lives, traumas, and tragedies we often hear from others how strong we are for enduring our circumstances but I think during those times it can feel like an empty compliment when we’re not entirely sure how to receive it. Realizing the strength within ourselves is discovered in retrospect through self-reflection. Just when you think you may not be able to handle anything more, those tend to be the times we surprise ourselves most with what we’re able to endure and overcome. We are ALWAYS stronger than we think.
So, what made you want to do a Session with Sarah McDaniel Studio?
A: I have been struggling recently with self-esteem & believing that I am strong. I’ve never viewed myself as pretty or attractive. I saw some of Sarah’s work & heard great experiences with her, so I decided to jump outside of my comfort zone & go for it...to do something for myself so I could remind myself that I am badass & nothing will change that.
We love to hear about new clients referred through all of our amazing feedback and positive reviews. It can be intimidating to take the first step and book your initial appointment when it’s stepping outside of your comfort zone, but we are so glad you did. It’s always an incredibly challenging hurdle to fight back against the voices in our heads that tell us we’re not good, strong, or attractive enough. We want everyone to realize the true potential of their inner badass after every session!
What was one of your biggest fears?
A: That I would not look good in any of my pictures...not a single one. That my poses would be awkward & my own fears would be validated.
Have you seen these pictures? It’s easy to let our greatest fears keep us from our true potential but breaking through those barriers and busting them into a million pieces is the most liberating experience. The personal gains of self-confidence and positive self-image are the foundation of greater personal strength and we are more than happy to dispel any and all of those fears. Posing can sometimes feel unnatural or awkward in the moment but the beauty is reflected in the image and the end result speaks for itself!
What was your favorite part of your Session?
A: How comfortable Sarah, Raven & Lindsey made me feel. I didn’t once feel awkward or ugly.
As many times as we can tell you that you should never feel awkward and ugly, they’re just words until you feel that level of comfort for yourself. We are so glad our team put all of your fears at ease and gave you the comfortability to explore your inner strength through your session. They are all incredible and powerful women whose sole goal is to uplift and champion other women too!
What would you say to someone that is interested in booking a session with us?
A: Do it! You will feel so much better once you take that leap. You will not be disappointed!
Taking a leap of faith is the ultimate symbol of strength, we are so glad that you did! We want everyone to feel like the best and strongest versions of themselves after every session and we don’t want anyone disappointed they didn’t book because they gave into fear. All of our clients deserve to feel every bit as beautiful as their images reflect and our team is dedicated to all positive results you would like to achieve through your session.
The key to maintaining physical strength is discipline, nutrition, and practice. Mental and emotional strength is no different and deserves the same regimen. Remember to be kind to yourself, allowing for rest days when it feels impossible to be strong because it’s okay to have those days too. We can always strive to set personal growth goals for ourselves to uplift ourselves and others and nurturing that strength
has the ability to shine as a beacon to others.
